Product Description

The iSPIT™Saliva Funnel is a polypropylene medical grade sample collection funnel that allows for saliva or spit to be collected inside the iSWAB-DSC and iSWAB-DNA-250 sample collection device. The iSPIT funnel is an efficient accessory/self-sample collection device that allows for sample stabilization and high-quality and quantity human DNA yields that are suitable for downstream applications and comparable to those extracted from samples collected with standard saliva sample volumes (1-2 ml).

Intended Use

Compatibility of the iSPIT™Saliva Funnel to iSWAB™-DNA and iSWAB™-DSC device for safe self-collection without leaking and user-friendly easiness of adding on/removing the accessory.

Indication for Use (from IFU)

The iSPIT™ funnel is a bio sampling collection device to be used to collect saliva and spit samples into the iSWAB collection device.
